TGC - The Games Company was one of the winners at this year’s award ceremony of the "LARA - The German Games Award 2009". The adventure “WSB5: Beyond the Horizon”, developed at TGCs company-owned studio Silver Style Entertainment, was able to stand up to its competitors and be bestowed at Cologne’s Coloneum with the “LARA Movie Award” for the best movie game of a major film production. ![]() Markus Malti, CEO of TGC, personally received the award on the evening: "I thank you for a really great event and am really excited about TGC being honoured with one of the most important awards of the games industry. Berlin based publisher receives KfW-business award “FounderChampion 2009” as the most successful start-up company in Germany. TGC – The Games Company has won the “Founder Champion” award 2009. Founded in 2006, the computer- and videogames publisher managed to convince the jury of it's innovative and successful corporate concept and claimed the title of the nationwide competition winner. The company’s intelligent combination of publisher and developer as part of an internal centralized control system provides TGC with a unique position as creator of high value content and a strong focus on marketing. The award show is going to take place as part of the German founding and trading days on March 19th inside the historical rooms of the Federal Ministry of Economy in Berlin.
